Guarantee, Refund and Membership Cancellation Policy

This policy governs the guarantee, refund, and membership cancellation terms applicable to the use of distemperscience.com, owned by TOFTER SERVICIOS EDUCATIVOS E.I.R.L., RUC 20612252841, based in the Republic of Peru.

1. Nature of the service

distemperscience.com offers digital access to information, educational guides, and outreach material about the treatment and recovery of canine distemper. All content is informational and educational in nature, and does not replace professional care or the diagnosis of a licensed veterinarian.

There is currently no treatment in the world that guarantees a cure with 100% effectiveness. We have reviewed studies on the subject and, above all, we have first-hand experience with the case of Toffy, the dog who inspired this project, and we have put together a treatment based on studies that report success rates of up to 90% in the scientific literature. However, you should take into account, among other things, these key factors that will determine whether the percentage mentioned is lower in your dog's specific case: 1) The dog's age (younger age, lower chance of success), 2) Pre-existing conditions (any illnesses or adverse situations the dog already has), 3) Adequate physical space (a comfortable, clean home), 4) Emotional support (love, affection, and understanding at home), 5) How much time the caregiver has available to bring the dog in for medication doses, check-ups, medicating at home, etc., 6) Getting the cooperation of a veterinarian willing to work with you, since in most cases you will be told the dog is practically doomed or that little can be done, 7) How quickly you act is essential.

2. Limitation of warranty

While the information published is based on studies, experiences, and scientific references, TOFTER SERVICIOS EDUCATIVOS E.I.R.L. does not guarantee the recovery, improvement, or survival of any animal affected by canine distemper.

Results may vary depending on factors beyond the site's control, such as age, immune status, the dog's pre-existing conditions, adherence to veterinary treatment, and other biological factors.

3. Disclaimer of liability

Use of the content and any decisions made based on it are the sole responsibility of the user. 4. Payment and renewal terms

Access to exclusive content is obtained through a one-time payment of USD $9 (nine US dollars), which grants ninety (90) days of access counted from the date of purchase.

There is no automatic billing or subscription of any kind: distemperscience.com does not charge periodic or recurring fees of any kind. Once the ninety (90) day period expires, access is interrupted automatically. If the user wishes to continue with access, they must make a new purchase whenever they decide to; the site may send a reminder email to the user a few days before expiration, solely as a courtesy notice, without this implying any charge.

5. No-refund policy

Due to the digital nature of the service and the immediate access to exclusive content upon payment, all membership purchases are final and non-refundable.

No refunds or payment reversals will be issued under any circumstances, including, but not limited to:

Dissatisfaction with the content or lack of results in the pet.
Failure to use the service or loss of access for personal reasons.
User errors in registration, payment, or cancellation made after the deadline.
Technical issues beyond the control of the site owner.

By completing their purchase, the user acknowledges having read and expressly accepted this no-refund policy.

6. Membership cancellation

There is no recurring subscription or membership to cancel: access is granted through a one-time payment that covers ninety (90) days, with no automatic renewal or periodic charges of any kind. At the end of the ninety (90) day period, access is interrupted automatically with no action required from the user, and no additional charge will be made unless the user chooses, of their own will, to purchase a new access period.

7. Valid claims and technical support

Claims will only be considered in the following specific cases:

Duplicate charges or verifiable billing errors.
Technical issues that prevent access to exclusive content during an active membership.

9. Jurisdiction and governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any controversy, claim, or dispute related to the use of the site, payments, or the interpretation of these terms will be resolved before the competent courts of the judicial district of Arequipa, Peru.
